India's Loyal Companion, Nature's Silent Killer

Meet Dhanno.

Not the iconic horse from Sholay, but her modern-day cousin the trusted petrol 2W found in nearly every Indian household.

Dhanno is dependable, yes. But she's also dependent on petrol. She consumes 1 litre of petrol every 35 km and coughing up a ton of CO₂ every year. That's what 50+ rainforest trees would need to absorb annually.

Now multiply that by 30 crore.

That's the number of Dhannos (petrol 2-wheelers) roaming on Indian roads, together releasing a staggering ~300 million tons of CO₂ each year.

To offset that?

We'd need>10% of world's rainforest to absorb this emission.

Now That We Know our Dhannos aren't Good for us environmentally, let's shift to its next generation: The EVs and say goodbye to Dhanno. But this is also not so simple:

Every 2W leaves behind 15 kgs of landfill, post ~ 90 kgs of recyclable components. Not only that, recycling this 90 Kgs, we need 700+ kWh of electricity.

This might seem small, but with 30 crore petrol 2Ws heading for the scrapyard that's ~ 4.5 million tons of waste entering our landfills and ~250 TWh of electricity (India’s current annual production capacity is ~1750 TWh (2023-24 estimate)).

So, what's the solution?

Tiger Bhai - India's green superhero.
At Green Tiger, we give your dhanno a second life by retrofitting her into a clean, electric vehicle. this means no more coughing CO2 and waste from scraping

Dhanno Retrofitted

600+ Green Tiger retrofitted 2-wheelers are already on the road. Together, they prevent 678,000 kg of CO₂ emissions every year. That's the equivalent of planting more than 33,900 rainforest trees. They also eliminate over 9,000 kg of landfill waste.

Same trusted chassis, brand-new electric heart. Zero guilt. Lower maintenance costs. And petrol what's that? The riders reduce running costs by 80%. While enjoying a fatigue and noise free ride.

The future of mobility isn't just about going electric - it's about making the transition intelligently. Every retrofit is a vote for sustainability and innovation.
