In 2022, Green Tiger developed the world’s 1st independent Hybrid scooter (i-Hybrid) which could run on both Electric & Petrol with a manual switch. Similar to our modern-day homes, where Electricity is the main source with DG/UPS as backup, our idea is to make electric the primary mode with petrol engine as a reliable back-up. In line with evolving requirements of India, Green Tiger also launched its Electric retrofitted vehicle with or without battery swapping in June 2024. Green Tiger is now offering both ARAI-approved i-Hybrid & EV conversion for 2-wheelers.

EV with Battery Ownership
Petrol vehicle is converted to an electric vehicle (engine is removed)
Your old petrol scooter is converted to a brand-new Electric vehicle with portable battery. The rider owns the Battery pack and receives a 2-year Warranty on it. The Battery can easily be charged in any 5 amp socket anytime anywhere
EV with Battery Swapping
Petrol vehicle is converted to an electric vehicle with swappable batteries.
EV with Swap options allows you to convert your scooter to Electric without the upfront cost of Battery pack. The rider can subscribe to a swapping plan as per our battery swapping partners and pay per Battery swap. Green Tiger has partnered with Sun Mobility, Battery Smart & Lectrix to use their 200+ swapping stations in Bangalore and beyond.
